Our story began in our senior year at Ramapo College. The first time we met was in October going to a party and Matt was in a banana costume. Strikingly funny to me, besides the costume, I noticed Matt’s caring and outgoing personality. Matt noticed my smile right away. We knew there was something special between us. We went on an official first date and enjoyed the time however; this was right before I completed my senior year early. Matt continued on concluding his last semester in college through May. We decided to remain friends after college. We always kept in touch, especially on Walking Dead Sundays! A couple of years had passed, and one night out dancing, I saw Matt from across a bar in Morristown. We ended up spending the whole night together and as I left the bar, I thought to myself, “Now that is a guy, I could see myself with.” Little did I know, Matt felt the same way and asked me on our second “first' date a couple weeks later. We went mini golfing where I totally owned Matt of course. We then finished the night with a walk around the Orange Reservoir and dinner at McLoone’s Boathouse. After a few more dates and time well spent with one another , we were easily falling for one another. We love our weekend hotel excursions. It is our thing that we love to do together: to explore new areas, make new memories, eat delicious food, and drink lots of wine. The best time spent is with our friends and family. We both work in Healthcare, and have worked daily through the pandemic. Although it has been a stressful year, we have been by each other’s side making the best of every day as we live in this new normal. It’s been 5 years since a boy in a banana suit met a girl with a beautiful smile and as we both would agree, when you’re in love with your best friend you can make it through anything. This is just the beginning of our Love Story. We are looking forward to many chapters of exciting and memorable moments together. We can't wait to say I do!
