Tanner and Carolyn were going on a seemingly normal family vacation to Gatlinburg, TN to celebrate Nana’s 71st birthday. They planned to have a date night the first night there. They went to a beautiful mountain top area known as Anakeesta. While there, they were able to look at many beautiful Christmas lights and even go over a rope bridge that was also covered in lights. After walking around for a while admiring all the decorations, they found a bridge to take a picture on. Tanner asked a random person to take a picture of them. Tanner had a trick up his sleeve, and actually asked them to record him proposing to Carolyn on the bridge. After many smiles and laughs Carolyn said “yes” and they were surrounded with a round of applause from the people standing nearby. Afterwards they both went back to the cabin to celebrate with family.
