Our wedding will be held in Saint Thomas Parish Catholic Church in downtown Durham. The downtown area can be filled with college students on the weekends, so you might want to leave a little early in case of foot traffic. If you are staying at the hotel block in the Holiday Inn Express, it is about a 5-10 minute walk away and we will have a shuttle bus if you choose to walk.
There are no dress code restrictions for the Church (ie shoulders/heads covered), and your reception attire will be appropriate without any adjustments.
Cocktail Hour
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Cocktail Hour will be served on the patio and porch of the Thompson Inn and Cyderhouse. Please bring your car to the valet and they will park for you. Enjoy our signature cocktails and an open bar!
Reception
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Our dress code is somewhat formal. Cocktail attire is certainly fine, but if you would like to have fun and get a little more dressy, go ahead!
Between 4:30pm and 5pm, will will be seated for the remainder of the Reception. We will be served delicious food courtesy of the wonderful Chef at the Thompson Inn, followed by speeches, dancing, cake, and more dancing!
