You can rent a car from the airport quite easily and we've found it pretty easy to drive in Ireland once you get used to being on the left side of the road rather than the right. Tolls can be paid along the way and the Dublin airport is only about an hour away from the castle by car. Alternatively, you could take a bus from the airport to the hotel. You can also hire a car or taxi to take you to the castle. Contact Fran at Fran.Weir@europcar.ie for special car rental rates.
We have a block of rooms booked at Cabra Castle Hotel for the night before, night of, and night after the wedding. Check out the "travel" tab for information of other hotels in the area.

Ireland uses the Euro. For the best rate, withdrawal Euros from your bank prior to departing for Ireland. Alternatively, you can transfer USD to Euro in the airport, but you will pay a higher exchange rate. Credits cards can also be used throughout Ireland, although some companies, like American Express, are not typically accepted. Visit this Ireland.com for more information about currency, credit and debut cards, and banking services in Ireland.
