I met Jared on the warm evening of October 7th 2017, just after TCU defeated West Virginia 31 to 24. We were introduced to one another at this quaint little bar in the West 7th area called Whiskey Garden! Several weeks (and many fantastic dates later) we both found ourselves progressing pretty quickly into a relationship. We both believed strongly in being very open and honest about our intentions and what we were looking for. Fast-forward to November 22nd 2018, Thanksgiving Day, at his God Parent's home in Heath, Texas. We had just arrived in the early evening after spending the day with my Mom's side of the family in Forestburg, TX. Jared asked if I'd like to go for a walk in their backyard and take a few photos with his camera, something we did often. I didn't think anything of it when he placed his camera on the tripod and began scouting the yard for good lighting, as I obliviously admired the sun slowly set along the lake front. Before I knew it, he had walked up behind me, spun me around, and began telling me a number of sweet things that neither of us can recall completely, before getting down on one knee and handing me the most beautiful ring I had ever seen! He had recorded the whole thing on his camera. It was intimate, a complete surprise, and could not have been more perfect. Since then, we have grown together in countless ways and are constantly challenging ourselves to be better for one another. Some of our favorite things to do together are nights out with friends, TCU tailgates, movie date nights, yoga sculpt, photography adventures, baseball games, and watching the Cowboys! We credit our relationship to God's perfect and unfailing timing and the large number of family and friends who have gone above and beyond to support and encourage us!
