Our story began in 2020, right in the middle of Covid, when the world felt heavy and uncertain. Jordan had just come home from college, and like so many others, we were both worried about what the future would hold. It felt like everything was on pause, and yet, in the middle of all that uncertainty, life had the most unexpected plan for us. What makes it even more special is that we had been living right around the corner from each other without even realizing it. One night, we decided to go for a drive and ended up at Twistee Treat for ice cream. What should have been something simple turned into hours of talking, laughing, and realizing there was a spark we couldn’t ignore. By the very next day, Emerson was on the boat with Jordan’s family at Lake Butler, and not long after, Jordan was blueberry picking with Emerson’s family. From the very beginning, it felt like we had found exactly what we didn’t even know we were searching for. Since then, life together has been full of love and adventure. We moved in together, got our sweet Frenchie Coco (who quickly became the center of our world), and have supported each other through some amazing milestones along the way. Along the journey, we’ve also made incredible friends who have become such an important part of our lives, and we love sharing so many memories with them. Looking back, we realize our story is proof that no matter what you believe in - whether it’s God, the universe, or just timing - life has a way of working out exactly as it’s meant to. Even in the hardest seasons, something beautiful can be waiting just around the corner. For us, it was each other. Our story is one we treasure deeply, and now we cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
