Jamie and Nathan’s story goes way back—like Kik Messenger and middle school crushes back. They “dated” for three days in 7th grade and stayed in each other’s lives through church and mutual friends. They both grew up going to EV Free Fullerton, and over the years, their paths kept crossing. Jamie was drawn to Nathan’s mix of kindness and rule-breaking charm. He was the guy climbing parking structures and flying around in his bright orange 350Z. Their banter was constant. Jamie gave him a hard time in the way you do when you MIGHT like someone more than you’re letting on. Nathan couldn’t help but love Jamie’s silly, outgoing personality, it was impossible to ignore. Then, senior year, Nathan transferred to Jamie’s high school Brea Olinda. She heard he’d been talking about her in class… so naturally, she called him out. That spring, they went to prom with different dates, but after the dance, Jamie popped a tire and without hesitation, Nathan left his date to come change it for her. That is the moment things started to change. Not even a month later, on June 26, 2018, Nathan asked Jamie to be his girlfriend. Years passed, and their relationship turned into something deeper, rooted in faith, growth, and a whole lot of laughter. On June 26, 2025, exactly 7 years after that first “yes,” Nathan proposed. Now, they’ll be saying “I do” on Sunday May 24, 2026, surrounded by the people who’ve been part of their story since the very beginning.
