Valary and Dowe have been best friends since they could drink. Having spent years living together, traveling on a whim, and cultivating their best day dreams, they've forged a bond that even the gruffest adversary could never break. Valary is the person you want on your side no matter what the scenario, and has been both a pillar of strength and a voice of reason for Dowe through the toughest of times.

Dowe's Best Man
In early grade school, Wes and Dowe were the ones-not-paired during a school band trip to a lakeside amusement park called Sandy Lake. Having been awkwardly forced upon each other that day, Wes ended up giving Dowe the confidence to ride the scary rides, forging a bond that would last a lifetime, and becoming more of a brother than a friend. Wes recently completed his bachelor's degree in psychology, performs as Dungeon Master for our D&D group, and does not like hugs.
Kimberly Sell
Dowe's Kim of Honor
Dowe and Kim came together through mutual friends in the hallways of high school, where she would later come to play an iconic role in his coming out story playing Dowe's "girlfriend" to his parents and family. Kim was, is, and has always been the most supportive, charming, and positive person in Dowe's life. Had he not been gay, Kim just might be standing in Aaron's place.
Rachael Land
Dowe's Coolest Cat
Rachael and Dowe met at the turn of the century, forging a bond over music, unique culture, and unforgettable personal moments that should probably not be discussed in a public space. It was a formative time for both of them, one that created a sisterhood that spanned decades, allowing them to easily pick up where they left off no matter how much time they spent apart. Rachael has a beautiful talent for singing and piano, and Dowe is one of her biggest fans.

Aaron's Best Brother
Aaron was just four years old when he met Andrew. He was all shriveled and pink and didn't have much to say. Fast-forward to today and not much has changed! As brothers, they've mastered the art of exchanging knowing glances, picking crowd-pleasing karaoke songs, and picking up where we left off over a couple of burgers.
Brooke Howell
Aaron's Queen of All Queens
From the Haus of HOOOOOWELL. Fort Worth's Mackie DOOOOOWLL. Aaron met Brooke during college where they thought it would be cute to pop in and get a little Bachelor's degree. These good Judies are still paying off loans for those degrees ten years later. Brooke is Mother to four precious pups, and has fostered dozens of dogs before finding their forever homes. Brooke is a great motivator to Aaron to remember that he is and always will be that b****, to follow the Rules of Vanderpump, and to make sure he doesn't lose his Diamond League status in Duolingo.
Colton Royle
Aaron's Pagemaster
Colton is truly a man of all decades. A real-life Don Draper, who loves Madonna, and snuggles with his brussels griffon named Mina. As one of Aaron's friends-in-lit, each month they read a book together and spend 75% catching up and 25% discussing the book. Few people take conversation as genuinely and nurture the interests of others as Colton. Aaron could take an interest in rock climbing and Colton would have 20 questions already prepared.
Willie Basler
Aaron's Man of Ska-nor
Aaron and Willie were the queens of Boerne Middle School North. Seventh graders would jump out of the way as they walked the halls. When the doors to the band hall would open, the students would play a heartfelt fanfare of "Smoke on the Water" at half speed. They've stuck together and now they are the queens of Barovia, punching the lights out of werewolves, manipulating vampires, and moshing with zombies as Anya Face and Lua Eegee.
Heather Bailey
The Officiant
A champion of our friend circle and mighty hero of long forgotten worlds. She may tell you otherwise, but Heather is often the voice of reason, or the guide through uncertain times. She is the boat in an endless ocean, the buoy to kindly suggest your bounds, and and she'd probably win Survivor if given the opportunity. We don't think she wants to be a leader, but we made her officiate anyway. And we're so glad to have her by our side.
