Our Love Story

Our story began at Seneca High School in Tabernacle, NJ. Throughout high school we had mutual friends who introduced us. With high school coming to an end, the number of get-togethers increased which meant us seeing each other a lot more. Jeff always thought Michelle was beautiful and intelligent but never had the courage to ask her on a date. One night at a friend's house Jeff finally walked up and asked Michelle for her number, but the response was not the outcome he expected... "If you want my number you'll find it"... ouch... Jeff turned around and took that as a HARD no. A week later Jeff got a text from a new number. GUESS WHO IT WAS??? Michelle had gotten Jeff's number from a friend after realizing that she was rather rude and did want to get to know Jeff better. After our first date at TGI Fridays and a late night movie, we knew the future had plenty in store for us.

The Proposal

So here we are roughly seven years from our first date. The big question had been tossed around for a few years but I didn't have the funds at the time to give her the ring she deserved. Finally! I had the money and the time to purchase the ring that would make her cry! As some of you may know I have been a Rams fan since I was a young boy. This year (2019) they so happened to make it to the Super Bowl! What better time to ask the girl you love to spend the rest of her life with you. So now we fast forward to the BIG day. My palms were drenched in sweat, but luckily I had an excuse! The Rams better win... Half time was a few minutes away so I ensured my Uncle Bryan had the 8ft banner, "Michelle will you marry me?", ready for the big moment. I took Michelle upstairs at halftime to discuss some things that have been "bothering" me to give our families time to get everything in position. We walk down into the basement and I turn left and drop down on one knee with both of our entire families behind me. I finally did it. I asked the love of my life to marry me. After her fountain of tears I was able to make out her answer. YES! The Rams may not have won the super bowl, but I know that I won her heart over.

For all the days along the way
