We love kids -- we really do, but we want our wedding to be your night off! Because of that, we respectfully ask for your children to have a quiet night in. Thank you!
If your invitation says "and guest" then yes! If it does not, then we prefer it's you and your dancing shoes!
Our wedding will be in the evening with a traditional Catholic ceremony, and a seated meal to follow. We by no means want our guests to be uncomfortable, but would prefer a somewhat formal dress. For ladies, cocktail or evening dresses are recommended; and for gentlemen a suit and tie. But again we want our guests to be comfortable and enjoy the night as well!
While we would love to hear from our guests, we prefer that all responses are mailed back so that preferences may be recorded correctly. For the ease of our guests, we have included addressed and stamped return envelopes with the invitations.
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Homewood Suites in Nashua, New Hampshire. More information on the hotel is located under "travel" on our website.
We kindly ask guests to refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony, when possible, because we want you there to share in the moment with us. We have hired a professional photographer to ensure the special day is captured. If there is a special moment you would like to capture, please remember to be respectful as to not disturb other guests or crowd the photographer.
As getting married is can be stressful, Doug and Katie ask that guests refer to their invitation or website to answer any potential questions. If you have a question that is not answered with the invitation or website, please contact the Mother of the Bride.
We kindly ask that guests mail their responses back by August 12th, 2019 so that the venue may begin their preparations in a timely manner.
Yes, there is! For guests staying at the Hilton Homewood Suites, there will be a shuttle service to bring you from the hotel to the reception and back. There will be two shuttles each way with times to follow soon.
At the ceremony, there is ample parking behind the church, with handicapped parking on the side. At the reception, there is limited parking available, with handicapped spots as well.
Absolutely! We ask that any guest who wishes to post on social media use the tag #DeJoiedtobeafuller so that all special moments are saved in one place.
We kindly ask that guests arrive to the ceremony fifteen minutes before it starts to allow you time to settle in before the action happens. Guests are encouraged to arrive at the reception for 6 o'clock. Please feel welcome to stop off at your hotel first and take the shuttle to the reception so that you may enjoy responsibly.
If you have a dietary restriction please indicate so on your response card. A vegetarian option is available as well for those would prefer.
We are registered at Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond under "Douglas Fuller".
Our wedding party will be wearing hunter-green dresses. If you do not wish to be mistaken for the bridal party, please refrain from wearing that color.
Our reception will be held at the Vesper Country Club during their operating season. When you arrive you will drive over a one-lane bridge with a blind corner. Please drive carefully, and share the road with exiting vehicles. As the golf course will be active, please refrain from walking on the greens and stay alert for golf carts and stray golf balls.
