Absolutely not! We would love to have each and every one of you nearby for the entire weekend, but our firm policy is to do whatever feels best for you. Palm Springs has lots of really cool hotels and private rentals in the area. We recommend you explore around and see what's out there! We're just glad to have you there.
Although we love your kiddos, we kindly ask that you leave them at home for the weekend. We want our wedding to be a vacation for you, too!
If your invitation includes a "+ Guest" then yes, otherwise that invite is limited to you alone. Because the venue can only accommodate so many people, we need all the room we can get for our great group of family and friends.
*Dressy–casual* If you think you look fresh, then so do we! Y'all should know by now that we're both big fans of bright colors and loud patterns— feel free to surprise us with a bold fashion choice. Be comfortable, but dress to impress. Expect moderate heat, and cooler desert nights. Something warm to add for the later hours is a good idea. Be sure to check the weather the week of!
The ceremony will be outside, then we'll move to an open air space for dinner and dancing. You will be back and forth between indoor and outdoor all evening.
April is when the weather in Palm Springs starts to heat up. You should expect a daytime high in the low 80s but mid 50 degree temps in the evening. With low humidity and steady valley winds, it is usually very pleasant and invigorating at any time of day. We always feel so recharged during and after a visit. The town of 50,000 is roughly 100 square miles but many off site attractions are very close to the Ace and inexpensive to get to if you are not driving out. There are almost no street lights in Palm Springs so be sure to look up after dark. We explore and relax poolside every time we are in palm Springs and encourage you to do either or both.
