Charlottesville Albemarle Airport

Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) is just a 20 minute drive from Downtown Charlottesville, and has direct flights to three major connector airports in Atlanta, Charlotte, and New York (LaGuardia). Transportation options to & from CHO include taxi, rental cars, and even select hotel shuttles. (Contact your hotel to inquire about this option).

Flight

IAD or DCA

Flying into one of the D.C. area airports - Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Reagan National Airport (DCA) - is a great option if you are interested in extending your trip by spending a night or two in D.C. before or after the wedding. From D.C., it is only a 2 hour drive to Charlottesville!

Train

Amtrak

The Charlottesville Amtrak Station (CVS) is conveniently located within walking distance of all three of our Room Block hotels. A great option for guests traveling up or down the Northeast Corridor.

Rental Car

Rental Car

Downtown Charlottesville is very walkable, and Ubers/Lyfts are widely available. However, if you plan to explore the surrounding area, (see our "Things To Do" page) you may need a car. Most of the major rental car companies have offices in Charlottesville.

Guest shuttle busses will be provided from the Room Block hotels, to the Wool Factory. At the end of the reception, shuttle busses will drop off at the Room Block hotels. Transportation will not be provided to and from the ceremony. Additional details to come!

We have discounted rooms available at the Residence Inn by Marriott Charlottesville Downtown within the Murray Newell Wedding Room Block. The Residence Inn is a 5 minute walk from the Charlottesville Historic Downtown Mall, where the After Party will be. Breakfast is included. Parking is $15/night. Rooms have a spacious kitchenette and living area.

Hampton Inn & Suites Charlottesville-At The University

We have discounted rooms available at the Hampton Inn & Suites Charlottesville-At The University within the Murray Newell Wedding Room Block. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Charlottesville Historic Downtown Mall. Breakfast is included. Parking is $15/night. Note: of the three Room Block hotels, this hotel is the farthest walk from the After Party location.
