All year, tourists line up outside this bakery to enjoy a small piece of this world-renowned culinary superstar. Is the wait worth it? You tell me! The almond croissant, macaron and quiche are personal favorites.
Butter Cream Bakery & Diner
If a maple bar or glazed old-fashioned are more your style, check out Butter Cream bakery for breakfast. The donuts are local favorites and the lunch counter feels like a step back in time. You can't miss this cupcake-colored creation just outside of downtown Napa.

I'm a total sucker for a bowling alley. My girlfriend Barbara and I routinely go here for what we call our "power hour." Leslie is an expert on Napa's low-brow delights.
Balloon Launch at Vintner's Golf Course
If you are up before sunrise, get yourself to the green at the Vintner's Golf Course to watch the hot air balloon company's launch. It's something you won't see anywhere else and after years of living here, it's still a three to see the hot air balloons sailing through the sky.
Sky & Vine Rooftop Bar
The rooftop bar at the Archer Hotel in downtown Napa is the place to be. Have a sunset to spare? Get yourself a neat drink, cozy up to a space heater, and experience the famed "red mountain time" as the eastern hills turn pink at sun down.
Skyline Wilderness Park
You don't need a gym membership when you have Skyline Park! If you are seeking some outdoor adventure, visit Skyline park for a hike. The Lake Marie Road is a gentle, rolling walk, while the Overlook and Buckeye Trails provide heart-pumping elevation gains and views of the Bay. There is a $5/car entry fee.
Hill Family Estate
Have you guys heard of this place? Don't forget to stop at Doug's family's tasting room and experience their wonderful wines sourced from vineyards throughout the Valley. Pony up to the bar and mention you're in town for Doug & Leslie's wedding for a complimentary tasting. Call ahead if you would like table service.
