Arielle had begun talking to guy on Hinge, and was getting ready for a first date that upcoming weekend. She received a notification of a new like and message from Doug. Arielle was curious about the message. Doug had responded to her prompt with an “Amen!” It had said, “I’ll fall for you if…you are a Christian man dedicated to his relationship with God, and are living for His kingdom. Also, if you’ll love my cat. We are a packaged deal!” Arielle half heartedly began talking to Doug. She was still convinced she would have more luck with the other guy. Sometime later in the week, Arielle used the voice note option on the app to reply to Doug. He replied back with a voice note too! Next thing she knew, Arielle was devoting all her time on the app exclusively talking to Doug. His passion for the Lord, the love for his family, and his silly goofy side won Arielle over. She said yes to a coffee date with Doug! Arielle had a gut feeling about things working out with Doug, and she was right! God’s divine hand was involved at the very beginning. Arielle and Doug hit it off right away! They got to know each other in a deeper level through reading the Bible together, participating in YouVersion devotionals together, and prayer. Their core beliefs and shared faith in Jesus have been the cornerstone of their relationship. Arielle and Doug are so excited to start a life together! They are ready to serve the God they together as a couple.
