We typically fly with our gear, on most airlines now when checking ski gear you get 2 bags for the price of 1 (ski bag + boot bag counts as 1!) but renting is super easy and affordable, $60 for a 1-day rental. You can book rentals in advance here: https://shop.bigskyresort.com/l/ski-rental/p/rental
Our ideal scenario is to hold the ceremony outdoors to fully embrace the beauty of Paradise Valley. Seating will be provided, and cozy blankets will be available to keep you warm during the short ceremony. However, if the temperatures are uncomfortably cold, we will move the ceremony indoors. All other wedding events, including the reception, will take place indoors. We’ll keep you updated as we get closer to the big day, so you’ll know what to expect!
Yes! The shuttle schedule will be posted shortly. We will be providing transportation to and from the ceremony & reception with return trips as well at the end of the night.
Our ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, for those taking the provided transportation the schedule is set so guests will arrive by 4:15pm. If you're driving yourself, we encourage you arrive at that time as well!
Yes! If you are driving yourself vs. taking the provide shuttle transportation there is a large parking lot a quick walk from the venue.
For the ceremony the dress code is formal! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Think elegant and sophisticated for a special celebration.
While we adore your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of our beloved flower girl and ring bearers, Isa, Tommy & Miles! We hope you can join us for a special evening just for the grown-ups!
Our greatest gift would be your presence on our wedding day! For those who don't subscribe to this idea and can't help yourselves we've set-up a few "wishing wells" on the registry tab of this site.
Yes! We’re excited to host an open bar during the reception, featuring a selection of beer, wine, and signature cocktails. Raise a glass and celebrate with us!
Yes! Lunch is included :)
Yes, bagels on the bus!
Light bites will be available during the apres drinks to enjoy alongside your beverages. It’s a casual start to the festivities, so feel free to grab dinner before!
No, food will not be served during the welcome drinks. We recommend grabbing dinner beforehand and joining us for a fun evening of cocktails and conversation!
While it’s a personal preference, we recommend renting a car. The venue is about 40 minutes from the Bozeman Airport, and while rideshares like Uber do exist, they are less reliable in Montana compared to metropolitan areas. Below are transportation details for the opt-in activities to help with your decision: Activities: - Big Sky Ski Day: Transportation will be provided to and from Bozeman (pick up and drop off at the Kimpton Armory hotel) for all participants! Rental car not needed. - Yellowstone Excursion: Participants will need to make their way to the Copper Rose Ranch for an 8am pick-up by our guides on Friday morning. The excursion ends around 2:30–3:00 PM, and guests not staying on-site will need transportation to their accommodations. - Rehearsal Dinner: Wedding party members will need to arrive at Campione Restaurant in Livingston by 6:00 PM on Friday, after a 5:00 PM (quick) ceremony walk-through at Copper Rose Ranch. Drive time between things if helpful for decision making: Bozeman Airport -> Downtown Bozeman = 15 min Bozeman -> Hotels in Livingston = 35 min Bozeman -> Sage Lodge = 1 hour Bozeman -> Chico Resort = 50 min Livingston Hotels -> Wedding Venue = 15 min Sage Lodge -> Wedding Venue = 15 min Chico Resort -> Wedding Venue = 15 min We hope this helps you plan your travel! Let us know if you have any questions.
