Co-Maid of Honor

Ann and Audrey have been best friends since they met at the University of Iowa in 2016. They first bonded on a spring break trip to Florida as freshman, then lived together the last three years of school. Since meeting, the two have been inseparable. Ann has always been an amazing friend, roommate, and sister to Audrey. She has been an incredible support through thick and thin. Even from Chicago, Ann still drops everything to be there for her best friend. Ann even helped Nick surprise Audrey with the proposal in Florida! She has been there for Audrey through every major life since they have met. Audrey could not be more honored to have her stand by her side as Co-Maid of Honor on this special day!

Chrissy and Audrey have known each other for fifteen years! They met in homeroom on the first day of middle school. They have been through it all together and seen each other at their best and worst! (AKA braces…they were not kind to them). After younger trampoline hangouts, the girls ended up attending different high schools and different colleges. Even though Chrissy and Audrey took different paths, they always made time for each other! Fast forward to today, they have both moved across the country away from Chicago. Through the past fifteen years and many miles in between, they have always shared a special bond that they will have forever. When the two are together, you can hear their laughs from miles away. Audrey is so blessed to have a friend and Co-Maid of Honor like Chrissy.

Megan Jelinek

Megan and Audrey met in 2019 when looking for roommates to live with for a semester in Milan, Italy during college. Audrey knocked on the apartment door without even talking to Megan beforehand! These two went from random roommates to best friends while traveling across countless countries, and have stayed extremely close ever since! Since meeting Megan and her family, they have always treated Audrey as one of their own. Audrey thinks of them as her second family. Because of Megan’s warmth and amazing friendship, it is obvious that Audrey is extremely excited to have Megan by her side on her special day!

Kelsey and Audrey met back in 2012 as freshman at Marist High School in Chicago. The two have hilarious memories running around high school causing trouble. When Kelsey walks in the Doubek household, everyone is excited to see her! She has always been the first one to call Audrey in good times and bad. She is the type of friend that would drop everything and fly down to Austin if Audrey and Nick ever needed anything! Kelsey has been an exceptional friend over the past twelve years and not to mention she is always the life of the party! Audrey is so thankful to have Kelsey in her life and her bridal party!

Emily Luzzo

Emily and Audrey met in high school as freshman back in 2012. Audrey and Emily were classmates, softball teammates, and best friends. Emily has always been one of Audrey’s rocks and adventure buddies over the past twelve years. Along with many other things, the two share a love of Florida, Disney, and traveling. The coolest trip they have taken together so far was exploring Paris! They even went to Disneyland Paris! Emily came to celebrate Audrey and Nick’s engagement in December, and the couple is even more excited to have her celebrating with them on their special wedding day!

Nick introduced Sam to Audrey the first time that the couple met in person in January 2021 at a work happy hour. Both Nick and Audrey are extremely close with Sam. She even followed them down to Austin, Texas! Sam, Nick, and Audrey have great memories from living in both Chicago and Austin and have all become life-long friends. The couple is so excited to have Sam by their side on their special day, as she has seen every stage of the relationship from the beginning!

Carly Turner

Carly was one of the first people that Audrey met in February of 2022 when she moved to Austin. Carly grew up in Austin and has been an amazing friend and tour guide to Audrey since moving. As co-workers and great friends, you can find them chatting everyday! Nick and Audrey have become extremely close with Carly and her boyfriend, Noah. Between cookouts, UT games, and work events, they have all made amazing memories. Audrey is so excited to have Carly as apart of her wedding party!

During their freshman year of college, Nick and Nik met through a few mutual friends and realized they only lived a few floors away from each other in the same dorm. As both the friend groups merged into one, Nick and Nik started to hangout every weekend together. They would spend their time at sporting events, playing video games, and hanging out at the park in between their houses after the dorm life. After college, Nick would drive from Manitowoc to Madison to hangout with Nik for the weekend, or Nick would drive over to visit Nik and his family in Green Bay. After meeting Audrey, her and Nik immediately became great friends. The couple is extremely excited that Nik will be the Best Man at their wedding.

Even though Evan and Nick both grew up in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, they first met when they were both getting ready to attend the University of Wisconsin - Madison, during their senior year of high school. Neither had found a roommate yet, and within just a few minutes of talking, they decided they would be a great fit together. Evan and Nick ended up living together all four years of college. They even both moved to Chicago for work shortly after college graduation. During that time, if you saw one of them, the other was not far behind. Evan and Nick have stayed very close since, and it was only right to ask the Big Man to be a groomsman.

During freshman year of college, Nick and Jack lived down the hall from each other and quickly realized they had a lot in common. A strong love for Wisconsin sports, Kwik Trip, and of course Busch Light, just to name a few! During college, Nick also started to become close with Jack's family when they would come to Madison to visit. In fact, he even spent a few summers living with the Melms Family up in Minocqua, Wisconsin during college. During those summers, you could always find Nick & Jack either out on the boat, serving tables at Lakeside Grill, or causing trouble in the Melm's basement.

Michael Spengler

Nick and Mike met the summer after their senior year of high school through a mutual friend group. When they both found out they were heading to the University of Wisconsin in the fall, they started to get a lot closer! Freshman year, Mike and Nick would spend their time playing video games in Mike's dorm room and going to Badger Football games. Nick and Mike ended up living together the next three years and even spent the beginning of their quarantine locked up in the same garden unit apartment for a few months. This gave them plenty of time to rewatch Game of Thrones (multiple times). Nick and Mike have stayed close ever since and Nick is so excited to have him in the wedding party!

Joe Wasserman

Nick and Joe met freshman year of college when living down the hall from each other. As the friend group started to form, Nick and Joe would spend most of their free time back at the dorm playing Call of Duty and listening to Imagine Dragons on repeat. They continued to do this while living together for the rest of college. Even after college was over, Nick would drive down and spend weekends at Joe’s house in Madison to continue the tradition. Nick and Joe share a special bond and the couple is honored to have him stand by their side!

Noah and Nick met at the beginning of 2022, shortly after moving to Austin, Texas. These two definitely have a man crush on each other, to say the least! Their birthdays are six days apart, and they have vowed to have conjoint birthday parties for the rest of their lives. Three birthday celebrations down so far, many more to go! Nick and Audrey have become extremely close with Noah and his girlfriend, Carly, since moving to Austin. They are so excited to make more memories and have Noah in their wedding!

Luke and Nick met in Austin, Texas in September of 2022 when they both started a new job together. Both Nick and Audrey have become close with Luke and his wife, Lauren since meeting. When Luke and Nick aren’t side by side at work, you can find them on FaceTime, or hitting happy hour around Austin. The two are inseparable!

Brother of the Bride Ryan is the older of Audrey’s two younger brothers. Audrey has loved watching Ryan grow up and the couple is so excited to have him in the wedding party on their special day. Ryan and Nick share a love for sarcasm and talking smack to each other about sports. The two are somehow always rooting for opposing teams!

Brother of the Bride Jack is the youngest sibling of the Doubek family! Audrey and Jack have always shared a special bond and Jack and Nick have been close since the minute they met! But don’t let that fool you, they definitely already act like they're brothers. Nick and Audrey can’t wait to have Jack standing with them on their wedding day.
