Question

What are the childcare options?

Answer

Our wedding planner is local to the Mat-Su Valley and has two young children. She has provided this list of trusted babysitters for your convenience. All have current CPR/First Aid and can provide references. There is also a local Facebook group "Mat-Su Valley Babysitters & Childcare Exchange" where local parents often find available sitters. Question

What does Garden Party Formal mean?

Answer

Garden party formal is polished, elegant style that is suitable for an outdoor setting, combining elements of formal attire with a relaxed, comfortable vibe. This often features lighter colors, floral prints, and fabrics that are appropriate for walking on grass, like a chic midi/tea-length dress for women or a light-colored suit for men - though any colored suit for men is appropriate. We want you to be comfortable walking on the grass, so choosing your footwear accordingly is important. Alaska in early June can be unpredictable with weather and while we will have tents, we will have an outdoor ceremony so it may be ideal to pack a light shall or overcoat in case of cooler temperatures.

Question

Are families welcome at the Welcome Party and Post-Wedding Brunch?

Answer

Yes! Families with children are welcome at the welcome party festivities and post wedding brunch - we love your children and wish we could celebrate with everyone ON wedding day but due to space restrictions, the wedding itself must be adults-only.

For all the days along the way
