Things To Do

It was important to us that we have our wedding in DC to highlight the life we have built together here. We love our city so much and are so excited to host all of our closest friends and family here! Here are some of our favorite haunts that we'd recommend.

Iron Gate Restaurant

This is one of our favorite spots in DC. The first restaurant Erin worked in, and definitely a second home. Enjoy the gorgeous Wisteria-covered patio and the incredible Greek and Southern Italian Cuisine by decorated Chef Tony Chittum.

Little Pearl

Another absolute favorite of ours, Little Pearl was Joe's introduction to fine dining, and he worked there for two years! Aaron Silverman's modern tasting menu is awesome, and the wines are unforgettable.

Want to grab a beer nearby? We highly recommend Bluejacket Brewery. Their wide range of beers from crisp to roast are all fantastic! They will be served at our reception, as well.

The Roost

The Roost is a modern, refined food hall in Capitol Hill that is great if you have a group with different tastes. With food like Red Apron Cheeseburgers, Slice Joint Pizza, Hi-Fi Tacos, Ako by Kenaki Sushi, and Yoko and Kota Chinese Barbecue, everyone leaves happy. Don't forget to grab some soft serve or cotton candy from State Fair while you're there!
