Please RSVP as soon as you know if you can attend. It really helps with our planning process. We hope to have all responses in by the end of February 2022.
Please let us know if you will be attending the afterparty when you RSVP. This will help us figure out how many of our friends to invite and give us a better idea of how to budget for the open bar!
Yes. We ask that all adult guests have COVID vaccines before attending any of our wedding events.
Nope. Bring whoever you want to bring to make your night more fun! We trust that whoever you bring will be respectful and will add to the celebration!
Unfortunately, on Sunday night (May 1st, 2022) all Standard Guestrooms at the Intercontinental are already booked! The hotel has given us a discounted rate on a limited number of the Premier Riverview Guestrooms for our guests on Saturday and/or Sunday night ($379 /night.) Hotel rates are for single/double occupancy. Additional occupants may be subject to an additional charge of $30 per guest. This deal will only be available for those who book before March 31st. Of course, The Wharf and the area around it have plenty of hotels to choose from and you're welcome to stay wherever you'd like!
Absolutely not. Admittedly, the locale of our ceremony and reception is pretty bougie. We recommend smart casual to formal dress, so you can have some awesome pictures! However, we want all of our guests to feel comfortable and to feel free to express themselves however they'd like.
Absolutely! Please note any dietary restrictions in your RSVP, and we will make sure your meal will reflect them.
Yes! We will have a kids meal option at the wedding. More info to come on what the dish will be, but we will make sure that every guest gets a meal they will enjoy.
Yes. We will have an open bar at the wedding/reception and the afterparty. The bartenders do have the right to refuse drinks to any guest that may have over-indulged.
We were lucky enough to book Black Masala to play a set for our afterparty. They are a Brassy DC based band that has made a name for themselves playing all around the DC area, including multiple shows at The Kennedy Center. Joe and I first discovered them at Floydfest 2017, where we first admitted that we loved each other. This isn't a wedding band; they will be playing their own set of their eclectic music. For more on the band, check out their website www.blackmasala.com
