Camp Dos Jones

Please join us for several days of wedding festivities! The outdoor ceremony will take place at the Chapel of the Holy Dove, followed by an all-night outdoor reception at Arizona Nordic Village, on July 5th. For the Fourth of July, we will have camping activities at the Arizona Nordic Village, and guests are encouraged to camp with us both nights. We want everyone to enjoy and explore the beauties of Arizona, so please feel free to venture off or join us as we go to our favorite spots before and after the wedding.

How We Met

It was the night of Super Bowl XLVI, February 5th, 2012, at the world's famous Eagle's Nest, the only bar in Lakeview, Oregon.

Our First Date (with Nick)

The three of us took a weekend road trip to San Francisco for the music festival, Outside Lands (which was a blast). JD had told Ciera to take an extra day off of work and surprised her that Monday with Nats vs. Giants tickets. This would have been the first season Ciera wouldn't have seen Washington play since their inaugural season in 2005. By the third inning, Washington was up 8-0, and the final score was 14-2. While it was not the greatest game, Ciera was beyond happy and still rubs it in. Not sure how JD did it, but that's when she fell in love with him and today they continue their quest to visit all MLB stadiums.

Our First Date (without Nick but with Blues and Jazz)

Our first date set the precedent for all of our other dates. For the second, but not the last time, JD and Ciera jumped into the truck to drive hundreds upon hundreds of miles to camp and explore. JD took Ciera from Lakeview to the Oregon coast, stopping along the way at places like the Natural Bridge over the Rogue River and the Redwoods. One night camping, we awoke to the dogs going crazy. JD bravely took on the situation to find a raccoon, named Sir John Paul, inside the shell of the pickup gorging on the dog food. He persuaded Sir John Paul to leave by poking him with a fishing pole through the cab of the truck. That's when Ciera knew JD was her man.
