After invitations arrive when should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 5, 2024. If you have a questions on how to work the RSVP QR code on back of invitation, please contact me at (641) 831-3440.

Answer

Beloved guest, If you would like to bless us with a gift, we are accepting cash gifts. We do have Zola registry, cash app $DorothyBrass and Apple Pay for cash gifts and messages. Thank you and we love that you can come.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30-45 minutes before ceremony. The preferred arrival time is 4:00p.m. If traveling from outside of Newport News area be prepared for construction and traffic.

Is there a dress code?

Business casual to semi-formal.

Can I bring a date?

“Due to venue limitations, and menu preparations, we are unable to extend the invitation to additional dates/guests if not indicated on RSVP.

Dearest friends and family – our wedding ceremony and reception is for adults only. We thank you for respecting this request and look forward to seeing you all in October !”

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

James River Country Club offers free parking, with two parking lots. They offer valet parking at your own cost.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail hour will follow immediately after ceremony. Please feel free to explore JRCC beautiful grounds during cocktail hour along with fantastic music, drinks and appetizers. Reception dinner will follow. We will end the night with dancing and desserts.
