May is one of the absolute best times to visit Ica, Peru, because it offers clear, sunny days without the intense, exhausting heat of the summer months. It marks the transition into the region's cooler, dry winter period, making outdoor adventures and desert exploration highly comfortable. Evenings drop to around 60°F to 62°F (15°C to 17°C), introducing a refreshing chill.
