Our Story
Like all great modern love stories, ours started on Bumble. Before we matched, Alex spotted Amanda on a billboard in Richmond, VA, so when her profile popped up, he knew he had to swipe right. (Yes, she offered to autograph that billboard picture for free!)
Our first date was at The Veil Brewing, where we spent hours talking, laughing, and enjoying one too many Falcon Smashes. Amanda’s first thought was “hot dang, he’s cute,” and Alex loved how she was unapologetically herself—someone he could truly be comfortable around.
Even though they were hesitant to jump into a relationship, being together felt easy. Amanda knew he was “the one” early on, and Alex realized it after some pointed advice from his friend Troy after a few beers at River City Roll.
Four years, two dogs (three including our Riley girl), a move to Pittsburgh, and a house later—we’re excited to take this next step and can’t wait to celebrate this new adventure with all of you!
