Our story begins years ago when our families first met through our siblings Caitlin and Ryan who went to school together. Our mothers quickly discovered that we had a lot in common and would be a perfect match. Flash forward 7 years (and countless of Mary and Mary Jane’s foiled plans to get us together), to the moment Kelly and Kyle first met in Marrakesh. Now you may be thinking, “What!? Neither Kelly nor Kyle have ever been to Morocco!” and well, you’d be right. The first time we met was at fund raiser called “Mystery in Marrakesh,” where we nearly ran into each other while setting up! Soon after, we went out on a first date, a second first date four months later when Kelly moved back from Australia, moved in together, adopted our dog Brizzy, and got engaged during a trip to the Biltmore! Our two mothers’ plan finally came together after 10 years and they haven’t stopped celebrating since! We are so excited to continue that celebration with all of you on our wedding day!

One of Kelly’s favorite places to visit is the Biltmore in Asheville, NC. Kelly was so excited to take Kyle on a trip down to North Carolina to visit her relatives and we decided to plan a day trip for just the two of us to the Biltmore. We arrived at the Biltmore bright and early for a morning tour of the estate and not 5 minutes after arriving, Kyle convinced Kelly to go take a picture together overlooking the estate. With the help of a few friendly people also taking photos nearby, the moment was captured as Kyle got down on one knee and proposed!
