Derin, When we first met, my life was at a crossroads. I remember the evening stroll we took early into dating when you told me “Whatever this is between us, I’d like to see it grow.” Those words changed the course of my life. Seven years later, we find ourselves here today, gathering our closest friends and family to watch us make this commitment. Derin, there’s no one else in this world I’d rather wake up next to and tell my crazy vivid dreams to. You’re the only one I like to have tickle battles with. Whenever I experience anything good, I am anxious to share them with you. And when things are tough, it is in your arms that I find calm. Derin I vow to be the same peace and happy place you are to me. I vow to take your grandpa’s advice, to keep things fun and playful, to never forget to give you a quick squeeze when I pass by you at home. Most of all, I promise to love and support you, through thick and thin, in sickness and in health, and for as long as I live.

Donn, From the moment I met you, I knew you were different–unique, classy, professional, yet kind, fun and sensitive to others. All of that wrapped up in a beautiful package that makes you, you. When times are stressful, and I start sliding into disarray whether it is from work or something else, I always take solace knowing your kindness and understanding will get me through. When times are easy, your positivity, tenacity and vivaciousness are nothing short of inspiring. I cherish you for so much, but your mind is what fascinates and encourages me to always do better. I promise to always hold you in high-esteem, to uplift you, to honor you, and to stay by your side. I vow to uphold the covenant of our marriage with a heart of thanksgiving, honesty and unconditional love. I love you now and always, Donn.
