Donn and Derin's love journey began in El Segundo, California back in 2015 when they met in the workplace. After a series of afterwork coffee meetups, outings with friends and back-to-back celebrations, the two became close. It wasn't until Derin decided to risk stealing a kiss after a night on the town that their relationship truly took flight. Little did Derin know, he had already caught Donn's eye the moment he sang Weezer's "Say It Ain't So" as they practiced for an office Wii Rock Band "Battle of the Bands." They spent the following years as a couple being each other's resume editor, adventure partner, fellow cauliflower pizza fan, confidant, best friend and favorite human. On November 2021, Derin took Donn to a Sonoma Wine Country getaway, which he punctuated with a knee to the ground, a risky question and a shiny surprise. It was an intimate yet life-altering moment that Donn met with an ecstatic "Yes!" and the rest became history. The two got married on their seventh anniversary and are currently enjoying life as newly weds.
