A lovely spot with walking trails and multiple ponds - plus mountain views! A great spot nearby the hotel and venue for a walk.
Colorado’s infamous National Park with endless trails, situated right outside Estes Park. Highly recommend a day trip if you have the time!
Close to Longmont, this area has plenty of hiking trails and more mountain views. https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/colorado/little-thompson-overlook-trail
Too many amazing hikes to name! Below are a list of Emily and Donald’s favorite, categorized by difficulty :) Easy: Flatirons Vista Trail - Iconic views of the Flatirons and a flatter loop than you’ll find elsewhere https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/colorado/flatirons-vista-trail Chautauqua Trail - Start in the iconic Chautauqua Park for a quick trip up and down the side of the Flatirons. The park has plenty of trails to add on as you’d like! https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/chautauqua-trail
Doudy Draw and Spring Brook Loop Trail One of our favorite trails in Boulder for the variety - you’ll have views, sunshine, shade, meadows, and some wildlife. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/doudy-draw-and-spring-brook-loop-trail Red Rocks and Anemone Loop This loop will give you a bit of a challenge but reward you with great views and plenty of shade. Combine it with Mount Santias for a big day! https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/red-rocks-and-anemone-loop
Mount Sanitas - another one of the quintessential Boulder spots. The way up is difficult and very rocky, so we recommend really good footwear and giving yourself plenty of time. You can take the same way down, or take the Sanitas Valley Trail back to the same starting spot for a more gradual decline. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/mount-sanitas-peak-trail
We love OZO Coffee - there are plenty of locations to grab some on your way to any event or activity.
If it is open, we highly recommend the Tea Tour!
The heart of Boulder restaurants and shops!
A great option for dinner on Main St.!
