Yes, there is onsite parking!
Carmen and Donald welcome extended family and friends to join them for a drink at Latin Flavors in Winder, GA (~10 minutes from the venue) from 8-10pm-ish on Friday, February 28.
We created the RSVP before receiving confirmation of whether guests will be able to opt for both entrees (buffet) or one entree (pre-plated). We’re happy to share that it will be buffet style, so guests can try everything! But Zola won’t let us remove the meal selection from the RSVP, so apologies for the confusion and unnecessary question.
We will have a gluten-free option and a tomato-free option, but otherwise can make no promises. Please let Carmen know if you have any allergies and we'll work with the caterer to see if accommodations can be made to avoid cross-contamination.
Clothes are required. Suggestion is somewhere between dressed-up-for-church and semi-formal. The ceremony will be outside in a covered pavilion and the reception will be inside. If weather permits, cocktail hour will be an outside + inside event. Parking lot and path from the ceremony location to the reception area is gravel, so proceed with caution if you opt for stilettos or high heels.
January 15! If you have not RSVP'd by then, we will track you down to ask for your RSVP.
Registry information is somewhere on our Zola site! If you have any questions or have a gift not on the registry, please reach out to Carmen.
Unfortunately no. Most hotels in the area are within 5-15 minutes. We recommended Uber/Lyft, coordinating with others who are driving or rented a car, or bribe Walker.
Yes, as long as they are included in the RSVP!
If your invite indicates that you may bring a plus one, then you can bring a plus one as long as they are included in the RSVP.
See the Travel section of our website! If all rooms have been booked under our wedding block, please reach out to Carmen for other hotel recommendations.
The ceremony and reception will be on the same property. The ceremony will be outside in a covered pavilion and the reception will be inside. As long as it's not raining sideways, the ceremony will be held outside. If it is torrentially raining sideways, the ceremony will be moved inside in the reception building. Keep an eye on the weather in the week leading up to the wedding so you know how to dress accordingly for the elements. If there's definite rain or very cold weather, we will do what we can to provide umbrellas, blankets, etc. for guests! Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be an inside and outside situation.
