Wedding Party

THE PARTY PEOPLE

Abigail Donahue

Maid of Honor

Abigail is Shannon's little sister and somebody Shannon is most proud of. Abigail was always the challenging little sister; however, I am so incredibly proud of the woman she has become. You can find Abigail teasing Ryan, encouraging everybody to have a good time, or smiling at me with love in her eyes as she watches me get married to somebody she knows I love deeply.

Chelsea Barr

Matron of Honor

Chelsea is Shannon's older sister and biggest role model. I always said that I would have a maid and matron of honor in hopes that one of my lovely sisters would be married before me. In either case I knew I would have both of them standing closest to me on my wedding day to represent our closeness.

Madison Martin

Bridesmaid

Madison (Maddie) is one of Shannon's oldest friends. From sophomore year of high school, through college, and to my wedding day, Maddie has always been a constant in my life. Her family welcomed me for Christmas present wrapping parties, Monday night Bachelor, many Martin 4th of July parties, and countless dinners. Maddie has been a friend I can count on and bicker with no matter what. Catch Bunz on the dance floor breaking it down and laughing until she cries (or worse) all night!

Alexa Jones

Bridesmaid

Alexa and Shannon met in college through their sorority, became roommates, then best friends. The sweet, not sassy - but sometimes when it's fun to be - and loving Alexa is a soul I am so grateful to have met in my life. Alexa has hugged me when I needed it most, and she coaches me in life without knowing that she is. Alexa may play it off as shy at first, but give that girl a Bourbon & trust me, we will all be having a great time!

Elisabeth Moegle

Bridesmaid

Elisabeth (Liz/Lizzy) and Shannon met in college. They became friends Freshman year, then roommates Sophomore to Senior year of college. Liz, Lizard, Big Liz, Lizzy has a smile that will light up any room. This girl can talk to anybody, care deeply about the conversation then bring up something they said 3 months later asking how they're doing in that area of their life. I am grateful to have a friend that cares so deeply. Liz is a farming girl, so ask her about her John Deer. ;)

Kathryn Walkowski

Bridesmaid

Kathryn (Kath/Katie) and Shannon met Freshman year of college. They became roommates Sophomore year where Shannon learned of Katie's love for Mozart when stressed. Katy (according to Ryan's spelling techniques) reminds me of a willow tree, shining in sunshine and blowing in the wind. She is strong and unwavering in her roots. She goes where the wind takes her in life, but constantly has her foundation to keep her grounded to those she loves. Katie is somebody I can always go to if I want to act a fool or get serious life advice. Her favorite dance move is "noodle legs", and I hope she shows them off on the dance floor on the wedding night!

Shane Sohns

Best Man

The man who needs no introduction! As many of you know, Shane and Ryan are brothers. Although Shane is only 11 months older, Ryan has looked up to him his entire life. Shane is a natural born over-achiever. When Shane and Ryan were growing up, Ryan often became frustrated because Shane was better at just about everything. As time went on, Ryan became better at golf and Shane took home the gold on everything else.

Andy Barr

Groomsman

Andy and Ryan met in 2013. Early on, Chelsea and Shannon were excited that the two got along so well. Ten years and a couple hundred rounds of golf later, many wonder if they are still excited. For those who don't know, Andy is great at holding conversation on just about any topic; so be sure to stop him and see if he has anything interesting to say.

Hunter Sturgeon

Groomsman

Hunter and Ryan met at IU and lived together for 2 years. Hunter is the best college friend anyone could ask for. He had Ryan's back through some tough times, made his college experience unforgettable and is always only a phone call away. Shannon and Ryan are excited that he's no longer a college friend, but a lifelong friend. Fun fact: Hunter might be the most competitive person at the wedding, so if you can find time to tell him how bad IU basketball did in the NCAA tournament this year; lay it on him. Shannon and Ryan take no responsibility for his response.

Shamus Cook

Groomsman

You can take the boy out of the frat house, but you can't take the frat house out of the boy - Shamus and Ryan met in 2016 via two college roommates (Alexa and Shannon). Alexa and Shamus are recently engaged, and Shannon and Ryan are getting married! so, it is safe to say that their days of degeneracy are long behind them; nevertheless, there is seldom a dull moment when Shamus and Ryan get together. For those that know Ryan, that says a lot about Shamus. Be sure to grab a drink with Shamus and ask him: "what are the people saying?" you won't be disappointed.
