A bit of a drive from Saugerties but worth the visit on your way to or from the city! Storm King is a famous sculpture park with some of the best large scale contemporary sculpture you can find.

Another one for the art people - Olana is Frederic Edwin Church's former home and grounds. The 250 acre grounds are open to the public but if you'd like to visit the house remember to book a tour.

Chris Gaynor's favorite place to visit! Great for children and adults a like.

FASNY Museum of Firefighting

A short walk on a lovely nature trail to visit this old lighthouse (the brave can even stay there!). Be sure to check the tides and hours before you visit as some portions of the walk experience flooding at high tide.

If you love a good sandwich (who doesn't), good cheese (again, who doesn't), or an excellent pastry (you get it), this is the place to the visit.

A longtime favorite of the Gaynor clan and a recent favorite of the Donahue's. We love it so much we're hosting a party there! Cameron says try the fettuccine.
