Me and Sammi Johnson first met during the war of Vietnam that’s what was going on at the time. But no, we weren’t in the war. It just seemed like a war growing up. He was always there. He somehow kept me safe through a neighborhood that wasn’t so safe. Sammi Johnson means a lot to me. He’s been a brother, a friend, someone I can trust, and someone who actually trusts me. I love him like a brother not just because he is my brother but because he took the time to be a brother.

I met Dom at church through a close friend. Ironically I had recently met the Perry’s and learned about their unique relationship with Dom. I knew then something God sent would transpire. My first impression was she is dope and she has this energy about her that makes you smile even if you’re having a bad day.

Sam and I met at the Nellis Chapel when we were in the 6th grade. Sam is my brother (Family)! His friendship has forever been second to none. He has impacted so much and has shown me what a true friendship is and what it consists of.

I met my brother Sammi in 2018 when he approached my wife and I at One Church LA. We didn’t know but Sammi had been watching us for awhile. Sammi told us about how God had showed him things about us; how important our marriage was to the kingdom of God. Sammi connected us with so many amazing people from One, while at a 4th of July cookout; ultimately helping us to establish community at One Church. I cherish Sammi for always being true! Sammi is one of the realest brothers I know and I can always count on him to be authentic! Authenticity is such a rare quality today and to find a brother that is both Transparent and Authentic is a blessing!

The impact Dom have made in my life these past 2 years….is something that is hard to put into words…as I’ve said before she was what I needed most at the time….from laughs to cries to celebrating my 1st thanksgiving away from my family and my daddy’s honey baked ham! She was the extra battery I needed in my flash light right before it died ❤️. I don’t think I’ve ever met a person as high energy as me before we reconnected 😭.

I first met Sammi at one church international, before he became a gatekeeper or should I say service support technician. He was transition from the camera department and fully committing to serving in a different capacity. I’ve always known Sammi to be faithful and be a man of his word. I appreciate him stepping up to minister to his team member when they are in need. Sammi represent a Purple Heart. Always willing to show up in the best way. He’s made sacrifices, love and support. Dom and I first met during a Community Group I was leading at ONE Church LA. We immediately hit it off and began such a beautiful relationship. Immediately, I knew this was a friendship and sisterhood that was definitely sent from the Lord and divine. We pray together, listen to each other, and show up for each other, and I am eternally grateful for her presence in my life!
