The Night Before: Staying in Lichfield (Premier Inn, Lichfield City Centre)

If anyone is travelling a distance and wants to stay in Lichfield the night before the wedding, Premier Inn Lichfield City Centre is a 6 minute walk from the registry office.

Parking in Lichfield: Wedding Ceremony

Parking for the wedding ceremony can be found at the back of Lichfield Registry Office in their staff car park. It's free to park there on Saturdays. Please note, the car park is not clearly labelled. Lichfield Registry Office is within the old town library and probate court buildings - the entrance to the staff car park is just after the probate court building, following a set of traffic lights. There's a small sign on the entrance to the car park which reads 'Staffordshire County Council - Staff Parking Only'. Should this car park fill up, there's a pay & display carpark next door which takes coin or telephone payments.

Night of The Wedding: Staying in Leicestershire (Travel Plaza Hotel, Desborough)

Several friends & family are already booked in at the Travel Plaza Hotel, Desborough, which is a few miles from the wedding reception venue In Leicestershire. The venue have assured us that taxis run easily and regularly in the area, there might also be a few lift or taxi shares available between guests to this particular hotel as quite a few are booked to stay there!
