Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The reception will be held at the newly built outdoor wedding area near the driving range at West Hills Golf Course in Fredericton. In case of extreme weather, a covered backup location will be used. If the ceremony location changes, guests will be notified via the same email address used for the invitations. The reception venue is located on the second floor, directly above the St. James Gate Restaurant at the golf course. Enter through the main entrance, and you'll find stairs to your left. Head up the stairs and walk straight into the reception area.

At what time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests be seated by 4:00 PM. Please note that the parking lots are approximately a 5 to 10 minute walk from the ceremony site, so we encourage you to arrive early. Come mingle and enjoy the atmosphere—our wonderful groomsmen will be there to help you find your seat.

What is the dress code?

We ask our guest to be dressed semi-formal.

What are the parking arrangements?

Answer

The venue offers two large parking lots, plus an overflow lot located to the left of the buildings. As a popular golfing destination in Fredericton, the venue is expected to be busy, so please allow extra time for parking.

I have some mobility challenges and struggle with stairs and walking. What are my options for getting around the venue?

Answer

To accommodate all guests, one golf cart will be available. Please notify the bride or groom at least 48 hours before the wedding so arrangements can be made for you.

How are dietary requirements accommodated?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions, please indicate them on your RSVP. We will contact you individually and work with the venue to accommodate your needs.

Will alcohol be served at the event?

Answer

Alcohol will be served at the wedding. We kindly ask that anyone who plans to drink arranges for a designated driver or uses a taxi or rideshare service to ensure a safe trip home.

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.

I RSVP’d to the wedding, but now I can’t attend. What should I do?

Answer

Please let the bride or groom know as soon as possible. We understand that life happens! Final numbers are due to the caterer by September 17th. After that date, meals cannot be canceled. However, with enough notice, we may be able to invite another guest in your place.
