Hanna and Dominik first met in 2023 on the Red Sea, somewhere off the coast of Saudi Arabia, on the ship Logos Hope, while playing the game Spikeball. They had both committed to serve as volunteers on this mission ship for some time, and during the first year, they were just friends within a friend group. However, something changed a year later, and Dominik could not get rid of the thought that there was something special about Hanna. During this time, he prayed for her, and quietly, Hanna’s heart also began to change. On February 26th, 2024, on the ship’s outside deck, Dominik gathered all the courage to ask Hanna to have a cup of tea alone with him.
