Meet the people who keep us sane!

Emily Wasser

Matron of Honor

Emily is my older sister, biggest confidant, and best friend. I have spent HOURS trying to write this tiny snippet only to delete it every time because truth be told there are no words that can describe what my relationship with her means to me. A facebook memory popped up from her wedding - a photo of the two of us and our guys. The photographer had asked our group to look at each other, the guys turned to us and we turned to one another. It was not the intended photo but I think it speaks volumes about our relationship. She's my person and the one person I'll always turn to. She's started her family and soon enough Dom and I will be starting ours but we can always count on one another. Love ya sis and can't wait for you to be by me for this next adventure <3

Tim Saner

Best Man

Tim and I go all the way back to 7th grade when he came over to Kenai Middle. Since that time it’s been shenanigans and sports pretty much at all times. Tim and I played varsity soccer together and his mom coached us in basketball (where I fouled out all the time...). That being said Tim is easily my best friend no matter the distance he’s moved away or however long it’s been since we talked. Tim and his wonderful wife Danielle were married two years ago and I was fortunate enough to be the best man for him. We are excited to have Tim in the wedding and to all the future shenanigans we are going to have!

Madison Chanley

Bridesmaid

Madison is not only Porter & Chloe's very favorite pet sitter but also their fave barista - she makes a mean puppacino. Make sure to ask Madison about her love for wieners; she has two dachshunds! Beyond her mad coffee skillz and love of doggos, Madison is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, truly genuine. She is going into the medical field where I am sure that caring nature (and a strong stomach from her work stories) will be put to good use. She's easy going and fun to be around but if she's shy you can always get her to warm up and open up with a Terry made margarita.

Jake Eubank

Groomsman

What can I say about my “little” brother, other than what a guy. The kid has the fastest wit of anyone that I know, and you for sure know where you stand with him (just ask him, I dare ya ;)....). Jake is one of the hardest workers I know and he plays even harder! We have shared many memories throughout our child hood from intense knee hockey games (only a couple black eyes...) and many hunting adventures. Jake is one of my best friends as well as my brother and I’m excited to have him on my team this June.

Michelle Wilkins

Bridesmaid

Mitchell Milkins and I go way back to 2018. We are what you call, fast friends. From failed attempts at Kangoo to successful trips kayaking I am grateful to have gotten to know her. She has quickly become one of my best friends and favorite people to spend time with. I know I can always count on Michelle to be there when I need her, whether I need to cry or laugh she's always around. She is confident and hilarious and she brings that energy everywhere she goes. If you're a stranger to Michelle it won't last very long - she'll be pulling you out on the dance floor and making you laugh in no time!

Garrett Kline

Groomsman

Garrett and I work at the Anchorage Police Department together and have become fast friends. We work in the fast paced environment of downtown and manage to keep ourselves plenty busy. Outside of work Garrett and I share a passion for hunting, the outdoors, beer, and excellent grilled food (Traegar anyone???). I am happy to have Garrett as a friend and it’s comforting to know that he has my back on the street, and also on my wedding day!

Sam Casler

Bridesmaid

From our days with CCC to AMDC Sam has been there! Sam is a true Alaskan girl who loves the outdoors and everything it offers, she is laid back and incredibly caring but also adventurous. I have no doubts she could outhunt most of the men. While her outdoor skills are no joke Sam also has a 'soft side.' Her cooking skills are superb and I've gotten many a favorite recipe from her. We've made some delicious apple butter and fireweed jelly and I can always count on her to have a hot cup of tea ready and a listening ear. She was by my side for my first keg stand and first office raid. I am excited to have her back by my side on my wedding day. Feel free to show her your keg stand skills at our wedding!

Kyle Haskins

Groomsman

Kyle Haskins has become one of my closest friends since I started at APD. Kyle is constantly tinkering on things (such as making knives or his new hobby archery..) or he is wheeling and dealing on eBay buying and selling items (even if his Arc’teryx jacket ended up being a cheap Kermit the frog windbreaker...). Kyle loves his stout beer (let’s be honest it’s only Guinness, must be an Irish thing...) and his family. Kyle and I have been in our fair share of scraps and I know I can always count on him to be right in the thick of it with me. I am looking forward to having him up there by me when I dive headfirst into this new adventure as well!

Sarah Pikul

Bridesmaid

Sarah and I met when she came in for an interview at the office I was working at and we've come a long way since then. From crazy nights out to crazy nights in we've made so many memories and some times it's crazy to think how much times have changed and how much we've both grown. I'm thankful that we've been able to maintain our friendship as Sarah galavants all over the globe. She's been traveling and living internationally and FINALLY she is back stateside making her a little more accessible. Sarah is lighthearted and fun and makes a very strong Bloody Mary. I'm looking forward to having her around for another night of dancing on one of the most important days of my life!

Will Parry

Groomsman

What can I say about William Parry, ELE of course (Everybody Love Everybody)! Will and I went through the academy together at APD. Even though he ditched me to be an SRO (School Resource Officer), Will still manages to find a way to make sure my head stays on straight and I don’t get too worked up. Will is known by his alias “Girdwood Will” and lives up to the name. I am looking forward to having his “flower power” next to me on my wedding day!

Brenna Hard

Bridesmaid

Brenna is my soon to be sister in law. Growing up with an older sister who provided a lot of... guidance. I always hoped for a younger sister to spread that same *bossy* love to. While I am gaining a younger sister I am sure she'd let it be known that she's not the type to be bossed around, even with two older brothers. Brenna is independent and free spirited and paves her own way. When she makes a plan she has the strength, determination, and will to follow it through. She's tough and sweet with a quick wit and fiery spirit but she'll always be the one to reach out when times are tough to let you know she cares. She certainly does not need the guidance of an older sister but I hope she's happy she's gaining one because she's stuck with me!

Seth Hard

Groomsman

Seth is married to my little sister Brenna and is the newest edition to our family. Seth is a great guy currently stationed out of Spokane, Washington. Seth is a SERE instructor (Survive Evade Resist Escape) so if you need some survival tips he’s your guy. I’m still getting to know Seth, but what better way then to make him stand in front of a bunch of strangers next June!

Kayla Haskins

Bridesmaid

Kayla and I met through her husband, Kyle, and Dom. Kyle and Dom are coworkers and I can't remember the exact time I first met my girl Kale but I know it wasn't when we were all supposed to go hiking and she bailed on me leaving me following the two guys through Winner Creek Trail with Jen, her oldest. It wasn't shortly after that we got to meet up in real life. Kayla has always been there for me through the good times and the uncomfortably bad ones. I can always rely on her to be there to talk or to share cheesy fries with. I feel like there is definitely a unique bond when you love a police officer and I'm so grateful to be able to have people like Kayla who understand and support me. She is a true gem and one of the most genuine and crafty people you'll meet!
