We met when we were the only two people to show up to our mutual friend's dinner party - it's funny how that works . Our friends were visiting from out of state so we ended up heading to Bird Point where we sat on the rocks and watched the Beluga whales swim by. When we dropped our friends off at the airport we awkwardly hugged good bye. Dom didn't ask for my number so I thought he wasn't interested but turns out he was just a chicken - he messaged me on Facebook later that night. We began officially dating on September 24th, 2016 and we've spent four wonderful years together since!
After three eventful years together we were on the eve of going on a trip to Las Vegas, and later Hawai’i! I figured it would be a fun experience to tee up a date night like we had our very first date. I schemed ahead with the photographer and took Rachel to Rustic Goat and later to Earthquake Park. When we reached the park we chit chatted for a few minutes with our photographer being semi-incognito in the background. Then, of course it was action time and I asked her to marry me. This must of been a shocking experience because she did not answer me (and still has not to this day!). However, we are planning a wedding so it must be a yes!
