FAQs

Question

Do I need to wear a mask? What COVID-19 restrictions should I know about?

Answer

As of April 22, Richmond City and Henrico County are at a "Low" level for COVID-19 transmission, meaning attendees can plan to wear a mask based on their personal preference and level of risk of developing severe illness. Anyone who tests positive or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should plan to stay home. For the latest information on restrictions within the State of Virginia, please visit: https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/protect-yourself/masks/

Question

When and where is this happening?

Answer

Dominic and Jackie were married in an intimate ceremony on April 23, 2021. The vow renewal and reception will take place on April 23, 2022, and we'd love for you to join us to celebrate! Please see the "schedule" page for additional event information.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, please check the "Schedule" page for additional information.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for the welcome reception is casual, but we'd ask that you dress formally for the main events on Saturday.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We will have a buffet containing traditional Southern-style fixings. If you have a severe allergy or dietary restriction which we should be aware of, please let us know in advance.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Guests are welcome to park in the parking garage behind The Renaissance beginning at 4:30pm. Parking is free from 4:30pm - 10:00pm, and a parking attendant will be present to help manage any traffic. You can park in the spots marked "reserved" on the right-hand side of the lot.

Question

Will Basil be attending?

Answer

For Basil's own health and wellbeing, she will not be attending the ceremony or reception. But of course she'll be there in spirit and in our hearts!
