The closest airport to Marzamemi is Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA). Marzamemi is about 1 hour south of the airport and it's important to rent a car because Uber is not available in Sicily and taxis are not easy to find. Coming from San Diego, best layover are Munich (MUC) and London (LON) for a 1 stop only flight to Catania (CTA). Although Marzamemi and surroundings are full of solutions for AirBnB and hotels, we are providing below a few suggestions as a starting point. Also, Palermo is another aeroporto option if you would like to explore that part of the town.

As we get more and more excited for the big day, we’ve decided to book July 3rd to July 5th (2 nights) in the charming town of Marzamemi. There are a number of cozy B&Bs available on Booking.com, so we recommend booking early as it’s a small town and accommodations fill up quickly. We chose Marzamemi because it’s just a short walk from the venue to our hotel, making it super convenient. Plus, having all our friends nearby to meet up for coffee will be such a treat! If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. For reference, I added a link to the venue where the reception will take place and added a few B&B closer to the venue, but there are plenty others to choose from.
