How we met

First trip together, just two months in—11 days of camping, starting with a 3-day canoe journey down the Colorado River with our friends Renata & Kaysen. Andrea definitely impressed Katryne with his water skills and all-around abilities.

Of course, Katryne brought a Tempur-Pedic pillow, so Andrea quickly learned that she might not exactly be a pro at packing light or compromising lol

The second leg of the trip took them to Mexico, down by the Sea of Cortez. This is where Katryne set out to prove her worth—showing Andrea that she can find food... and cook it, too.

Katryne was still trying to impress Andrea with her skills... little did she know, Andrea had plenty of tricks up his sleeve

The third leg of our trip brought us to the Pacific Ocean, where Katryne met Lorenzo and KJ—Andrea’s good friends from Santa Monica—for the first time.

The day after they returned to San Diego, Katryne flew to Italy for Barbara’s wedding, missing Andrea’s birthday. At the time, she had no idea that would almost cost them their relationship

This trip really put their relationship to the test. It was Katryne's first time in Italy, and she missed Andrea every step of the way.

After 28 days, they were finally reunited in Sicily. Andrea took Katryne to Favignana to show her the beauty of his island—and introduced her to the art of sleeping without A/C in 90-degree heat. Lol.

Favignana was absolutely stunning, and it only made Katryne fall a little more for the island’s Italian charm

Such an underwater explorer! She had no idea!!

The days after he show is beach town Avola and took her hiking on his favorite place - Cavagrande. Sicily's grand canyon.

After he took her hiking through a no trail path and through the river, I think she may have passed his test lol
