Wedding Party

Brianne Doherty

Matron of Honor

My older sister, first friend (and first enemy... I will never soon forget our epic battles over the TV remote as kids) and role model! I am so lucky to have known you my whole life, as not everyone is so fortunate to have someone as brilliant, funny (also, punny), compassionate, and silly to call their sister. Dan & I are also SO lucky that Bree literally just got married in March 2023 and therefore can share all her (& Clint’s!) wedding planning wisdom :)

Sean Leblanc

Best Man

Sean has been Dan’s closest friend for 16 years. Together they’ve been through it all, from doing stupid shit as teenagers to (believe it or not) still doing stupid shit as adults. These two will always have each other’s backs. Sean has always had Dan’s back no matter what and may be more excited for the bachelor party than Dan is. He’s been married for 4 years with a daughter and a son on the way!

Marie Simpson

Maid of Honor

My friend since childhood, girl scout sister/cookie selling partner (we still have PTSD from wearing giant cookie costumes at the train station...), teen/adult best friend/confidant, and most importantly fellow Twilight/TSwift enthusiast! I cherish all our memories in Cape May as kids, in Woodstock as adults, all over NYC, in any/every old man bar we can find, as well as our countless movie nights, fantasy brackets, walks around the neighborhood, etc.! Fun fact: Marie was present for Dan & Meg’s first date!

Brian Russ

Groomsman

Not everyone is lucky enough to have an older brother like Brian. I specifically remember being at a Phillies game one time and having Brian hype me up to go down to the wall in right field and yell "HEY BOB-A-LOO" to Bobby Abreu. It took some convincing but I did it and Bobby waved back at him! I still remember the laughs everyone had when it happened. Through everything good and bad, Brian has always been there for me. I’m so lucky to have an older brother and a role model as awesome as him. Brian has been married for 11 years now and is the father to Daniel’s first nephew, Adam.

Marin Doherty

Bridesmaid

My younger sister and forever friend! Marin is 12 years younger than me (or 11 years 11 months if you want to get technical) and yet I feel like I’m the one that learns so much from her every day. You will truly never meet someone so cool. I admire how she’s always been so hilarious (intentional or not), kind, compassionate, headstrong, and wise beyond her years. I honestly want to be Marin when I grow up! I love this girl, she keeps me young.

Jason Russ

Groomsman

Jason is Daniel’s second oldest brother. As a kid, Daniel was called “little Jason” which still shows to this day. Dan adopted his taste in music, love for video games and the desire to wear a white suit to his 8th grade formal (Jason wore a white suit to his prom that same year).

Rosie Sullivan

Bridesmaid

My cousin and partner in crime! We were girls together, and I feel so lucky to have had someone so close in age to go through all of life’s ups and downs with. We’ve truly been through it all together, from childhood road trips scream singing “I’m So Excited” by The Pointer Sisters, weirdly iconic nights out in our early 20s, unforgettable trips to Disney, laughing any time Back to December comes on shuffle (iykyk), Zac Brown Band concerts, and always searching for each other at family events, even as adults. The list goes on and on, our memories are endless, and our good times will never end!

Jim Booth

Groomsman

Since the day I met Jim I aspired to be like him. His ability to have the whole room laughing, and the fact that he is just as much of a rangers and giants fan as I am, always led to a great time when we’d get together. He’s a great example as a father, a husband and a regular every day DIY handyman. He’s the uncle I always looked up to and over the last two years we’ve grown to be closer than ever before. I’m proud to say that Jim is more than just an uncle, he’s one of my best friends.

Devin Fletcher

Bridesmaid

Another cousin of mine and soul sister. We didn’t get to see each other very often growing up due to distance, but luckily were able to reconnect in our early 20s when Dev moved to NYC (#ThankYouTheater). It amazes me how easy it was to reconnect and how quickly we formed such a close friendship. I’ve always admired Dev’s unique perspective on everything, how she is the life and heart of every party, that she introduced me to the best UWS bar (Dead Poet), and I love that even though all we do is talk, we never seem to run out of things to talk or laugh about!

Geoff Sheasby

Groomsman

Geoff and Dan unknowingly coexisted in the same mosh pit at a concert Brooklyn as strangers. What started as a routine commute back to Manhattan took a fateful turn as the always-unreliable L train got stuck between stops for almost fifteen minutes, trapping riders in place without any cell service. As the silence grew louder, Dan and Geoff locked eyes, both simultaneously having the same epiphany - they were at the same concert. A subway conversation about music lead to an exchange of phone numbers, and the rest is history.

Harry Hudome

Bridesman

Aka ‘lil bby Harry’ Harry was Meaghan’s ‘Little’ in a student organization (SA) back in college. We quickly knew we were platonic soulmates the very first time we hung out and ordered the exact same sandwich for dinner (Genoa on sourdough from Cheese Please, #godukes). We are infamous for model poses at formal events, attending more Broadway shows together in 6 years than some people see their whole life, and always being in the mood for a white cosmo™️ from the Hi-Life.

Ian Lawless

Groomsman

From the boiler room to the bowling alley you can always count on Ian for a good time. Three and a half years of concerts, gaming and working together has formed an unstoppable bond between these two “boiler boys”.

Lindsay Baxter

Bridesmaid & Officiant

Aka ‘LB’ Meaghan met LB back in college (through the same org she met lil bby Harry- SA is the gift that keeps on giving!) Though we met as sophomores, we didn’t really start hanging out until spring semester senior year. Better late than never, though we always joke that we would have burned the school down if we became this close any sooner. We’ve had so many unforgettable times together from silly crazy nights out, lake days, night stargazing convos, wreaking havoc in NYC, and always ending up with a bad case of the giggles (no cure). Fun fact for the Martin side: LB is a TMLA graduate!

Ryan Smith

Groomsman

From rooftop concerts in Manhattan to basement shows in Albany and everywhere in between, the common denominator is always Ryan and Dan having a great time together. A Long Island native, Ryan now lives in Brooklyn where he’s a teacher. With an infectious laugh and an impeccable taste in music, Ryan has become one of Dan and Meg’s favorite people to be around.
