From Chicago to Detroit

Megan moved to the city in summer 2017, downloaded Bumble, and met Kevin, who quickly changed her plans to stay single. Their first date at the J. Parker rooftop in Lincoln Park featured bad food, good drinks, and even better company. The night was capped off with Kevin teaching Megan how to take the L, walking her home, and going in for the kiss on the first date! I guess this is when they say "the rest is history"? Over the next two years, they explored Chicago, from the Shedd Aquarium to Logan Square Farmers Market. In 2019, Kevin moved to Scottsdale for work, and they navigated long distance until COVID-19 prompted Megan to join him in Arizona. Their 2020 cross-country road trip included stops at Badlands and Glacier National Parks and marked the start of their Arizona adventures—golfing, Desert Botanical Gardens, and weekend trips to Sedona and Palm Springs. In 2021, they hit the road full-time, visiting 30 states, 7 national parks, and countless friends and family before settling in Summit County, Colorado. There, they embraced life in the mountains, skiing and hiking while enjoying remote work. Now, after prioritizing adventure and finally settling down, it's time to make things official. Megan and Kevin couldn’t be more grateful to their friends and family for making the trip to Detroit to celebrate with them.
