FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the wedding, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to text Haley at (515) 313-3541. The day before or during the wedding please contact Margaret at (515)7209488.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal/cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear formal/cocktail dresses, and gentlemen can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants.

Question

Any clothing recommendations?

Answer

For outdoor venues with gravel and uneven terrain, we recommend wedge heels or flats to ensure comfort and stability. Given the potential for cooler temperatures dropping into the 40's, bringing a shawl or light jacket is also advisable to keep you warm and stylish throughout the event.

Question

How is the cell service?

Answer

While our remote location may experience occasional cell service challenges, all lodging accommodations offer reliable WiFi to keep you connected. We also invite you to embrace this opportunity to unwind and disconnect from the digital world during your stay.

Question

Is there grocery store near by?

Answer

We recommend stocking up on groceries and essentials in town before arriving at McKenzie Bridge, as local grocery options are quite limited in the immediate area.

Question

What are the driving conditions?

Answer

The mountain route offers breathtaking views, we don’t expect snow but we recommend renting a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the terrain comfortably and safely.

Question

What should we expect for accommodations?

Answer

Accommodations have been pre-assigned for all guests. This venue is a retreat-style setting, so we recommend guests come prepared. While we'll provide beer and seltzer during the wedding, guests should plan to bring their own snacks, drinks, wine, and liquor for their stay.
