She was the essential ear that listened when Alex realized it was time to close a previous chapter, and she remains the friend who constantly calls out Alex’s strength and beauty whenever Alex needs a reminder. Raisa and Alex’s bond was forged in the chaos of their college sorority days, where they were partners-in-crime. Charlie is Alex’s nephew and the wedding’s official Ring Bearer. At just 10 years old, Charlie is a vibrant reflection of the family’s heart, emulating the same selflessness and easygoing nature of his beloved late grandfather. Like his grandfather, Charlie is someone who always wants to ensure everyone is having a good time and prefers harmony over 'ruffling feathers.' Alex is deeply moved to have Charlie carrying the rings, as his presence is a beautiful reminder that the best parts of her father live on in the next generation.

Tony is Dan's oldest friend and has always been there for him through the years. He was the first to embrace Alex coming into Dan's life, which earned him the rightful place as the officiant of their wedding. The two met at their sisters' Girl Scout meeting, playing backyard football and bonding over the Giants' baseball successes and the misery of being a 49ers fan. Despite Tony living in various places throughout the country, the two constantly see each other, keeping their friendship strong and always being a constant in each other's lives. Tony is one of the most selfless people on this planet, always willing to make it work and does the most for all the people in his life. There is no one better to marry these two than Tony.
Sam Richardson
Best Man
Sam and Dan met in the dorms during their freshman year at the University of Denver. They really became close when Sam decided hit the gym consistently, and Dan didn't want to be the smallest guy in the hall. What started as endless chest and bicep workouts and crazy adventures like overnight trips to Zion and trips to the X Games, turned into a lifelong friendship. Sam is a passionate and caring person. When not hanging out with Dan, he is traveling the world, volunteering at his Uncle's orphanage in Nairobi, and taking care of his family and girlfriend.
Lane Bretschneider

Lane and Dan met at the University of Denver during their senior year in one of the most unexpected ways. Dan was planning to go to a concert with someone who sold their ticket to Lane without telling Dan. Their first time hangingout was a bro date to a concert where everyone was sprayed with foam. Joke's on them because not only was it a great concert, it was the start of a great friendship and many concerts to come. From endless Two Friends mixes at parties to sipping quality brews at a local brewery, these two could go months without talking, but pick right back up as if they saw each other yesterday. When not catching up on life with Dan, Lane is caring for his wife, Taylor, his wonderful baby girl, Elle, and has a baby boy on the way.
Michael Samii

Michael and Dan met playing soccer in high school and have unintentionally moved through life side by side. As the guys who always marched to the beat of their own drum, they were always causing trouble and doing the wackiest things, like dancing to Suit & Tie and the entire LMFAO soundtrack in front of the whole school. As they both applied to college, unbeknownst to each other, they both chose the University of Denver, and then lived together for almost 8 years. Whenever Dan calls Michael, he always picks up (unless his phone is dead) and has driven miles when Dan desperately needed help. He's always down for a good time, and you will never meet anyone else like him.
Devin Langer

Devin, originally from Missouri, met Alex at Mizzou, and they have been friends ever since. As soon as Alex brought this guy named Dan around, Devin without question, welcomed him into their friend group. You can always count on Devin to make you laugh and see the good in every situation. He is a true outdoorsman and loves the simple things in life, like being connected to people across the world via HAM radio. Through the ups and downs in Alex and Dan's lives, Devin has been a constant light of positivity and always makes them feel better even if they are already in a good mood.
Logan Garske

Dan met Logan on his first day at a new job in 2022 and has been friends ever since. What really kicked off their friendship was Logan inviting him to go to GABF (Great American Beer Fest) where they bonded over good beer and great company. Logan goes out of his way to make sure everyone is having a good time and always puts others first. If you need to find Logan, there are only two places you need to look: at the gym or at a brewery. When he's not out being the life of the party, you can find him walking his pup yogi and spending quality time with his girlfriend.
