Cancun International Airport

Congratulations, you've made it to Cancun! You're one step closer to your final destination: Hotel Xcaret in beautiful Playa del Carmen. However, you'll have to get through customs first. Cancun Int'l Airport will be busy during this time of year and you should expect long lines to get through customs. Wait times can be up to 1 hour. But......there is a way to avoid these long wait times. If you have a US or Canadian passport and are not traveling with anyone under the age of 18, you can use the automated "E-Gates" that were recently installed in the customs area. Below is a link to a short video that will explain how to use these E-Gates and where to find them.

Complimentary Shuttle to Xcaret Mexico

Guests staying at Hotel Xcaret Mexico have complimentary shuttle service from/to the airport. After you have passed through customs and collected your baggage, head outside through the glass doors and look for the big bus that says Xcaret. By now you should have received an email from Stefani Holt of Destination Weddings asking for your arrival/departure dates and flight information. Please respond to her email with your arrival/departure flight info as this information will be shared with the hotel to ensure your shuttle is waiting for you upon your arrival.
