Welcome to the Philippines! Here are a few tips for when you visit! Transportation: Philippines has their own version of Uber which is called Grab Taxi (App link provided below!) Internet Hot Spot: Wi-Fi access can be pretty hard to get or even limited if you don't have a local Philippines phone number, so it's always a good idea to make sure you bring a hot spot or to check if your cell phone company has international data plans! (Link to a hotspot provided below!) Travel time: Traffic can get pretty bad in Metro Manila during certain hours of the day (think of Los Angeles traffic but 3 times as bad). Plan to travel accordingly! Tipping: Many restaurants and bars already include the gratuity, but tips are always appreciated! Weather: June is the start of wet/typhoon season, so please be prepared with an umbrella! Essentials: Baby wipes, sunscreen, mosquito spray, and strong probiotics (for those weak stomachs!) will be your best friends! (Probiotics link provided below!)

This is the hotspot we use when we travel abroad. You would download the GlocalMe app, connect it to your GlocalMe device, and buy data by the GBs. This is very useful if your cellphone provider doesn't offer affordable international plans!

These are my favorite probiotics to use to prevent traveler's diarrhea. There is an adult form (a pill you take twice a day) or a children's form (Same amount of probiotics, the only difference is that it is a powder you mix in a drink and take twice a day).
