A beautiful and FREE art museum to visit downtown. This is a Kansas City staple! This could be a fun place to visit in between the ceremony and reception.
National WWI Museum and Memorial
DJ and Mary love this museum. It does cost money, but is well worth it!
Country Club Plaza
A fun downtown area filled with shops and restaurants! The Plaza has free parking and could be a great place to go in between the ceremony and reception.
Union Station & Crown Center
Union Station is a fun place to explore and it has various things to do inside of it! There is also a skywalk that connects it to Crown Center where the bride grew up going to with her mom. Union Station is right across the street from the WWI Museum as well!
Gates Bar-B-Q
Eat some famous Kansas City Barbecue! Gates is very popular and only minutes from our Church. The Bride recommends eating here possibly in between the ceremony and reception.
Fritz's
The Bride loves coming here for some fun, cheaper priced food that gets delivered to you on trains! It is conveniently situated in Crown Center.
Winstead's Steakburgers
Home of the Skyscraper Milkshakes! Winsteads is a fun, cheap diner located right by the Country Club Plaza. The Bride highly recommends eating here between the ceremony and reception.
Boulevard Brewing Company
Boulevard is Kansas City's iconic brewery. The Bride recommends staying here for a drink or two between the ceremony and reception. If you are a planner, you can even book a tour of the facility a week in advance on the website!
