Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lily Elisha and David Precie
If you haven’t been to the Palm Springs area, you’re coming at our prime time! The winter season is perfect for hiking nearby trails, enjoying our version of “patio season”, and doing other outdoor things people do during summer in normal, non-desert places. And while your adorable kiddos are *not* invited to the wedding, many of these desert activities are child friendly!
Sunnylands Center & Gardens

Sunnylands Center & Gardens

37977 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270

This historical Annenberg Estate off-shoot cafe and garden is an Elisha family favorite adopted by us. Some of our very first wedding planning happened here at the cafe, and many shared pots of coffee on morning dates. The grounds are so beautiful you really have to see it for yourself.

Sunstone Spa at Agua Caliente

32-250 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270

DJ and I spent a spa day here together and did not want to leave! I tell everyone who comes to the desert to come here for treatments or even the $55 all-day access to the spa amenities. Heaven.

El Paseo Shopping District

El Paseo Shopping District

Palm Desert, CA 92260

This street is the local “Rodeo Drive” (a stretch, but for description purposes we’ll go with it) with a row of amazing food spots, art galleries and installations, and luxury and non-luxury shopping. DJ and I have spent a lot of time (and money) here, and now we live close enough to take a long walk here…yikes! Personal favorite restaurants include: Tommy Bahama’s, il Corso, Armando’s, and Thai Smile

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens

47900 Portola Avenue, Palm Desert, CA 92260

Meerkats and giraffes in the desert?! Say less… literally such day date spot. DJ paid for me to feed giraffes in June and it was so disgusting but equally as cool. Very kid friendly!
