Matthew and I stayed here and absolutely loved it and pets are welcome (at no additional cost)! This is right on UVA campus, a little further away from the main downtown area. Breakfast is not included, but there is a restaurant on site. Overnight parking for guests is $29.00 per day with in/out privileges.

The Amtrak station is conveniently located in downtown Charlottesville, walking distance from the hotels listed above and minutes from dining. Trains from Washington, D.C.’s Union Station run daily and are an affordable travel option.

The DMV area offers several airport options for travelers. Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport (CHO) is the closest airport, located just 8–10 miles from the hotels and downtown Charlottesville. Richmond International Airport (RIC) is the nearest international airport and is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from the hotels listed above and downtown area.

Washington Dulles (IAD) or Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) offer more flight options, but are farther from Charlottesville.
