Like many modern love stories, ours started with a swipe. One right swipe on Tinder turned into hours of conversation, endless laughter, and an undeniable connection. Our first date? Bowling and IHOP…. where we talked so long IHOP staff had to gently kick us out at closing time. Since then, we've survived long-distance and a trip to India, lost and welcomed furry best friends, and even bought a house. Honestly, at this point, we're basically married, with a dog and a mortgage to prove it. Matthew took his time proposing, but when he finally did, it was absolutely perfect. Let's set the scene: a golden sunset by the lake, Boots with us, and just the two of us with two close friends, who were secretly capturing every moment (and trying to calm Boots down). When Matthew said my name, tears immediately welled up in my eyes, and I knew exactly what was happening. The obvious answer was yes! We are so excited to be planning our wedding! Well, mostly I’m doing the planning, but Matthew chose the venue and is definitely cheering me on (and trying all the food)!
