We met at our church's college ministry. James' younger sister was doing a coat drive for Ukraine and James was helping. Emily (his sister) formally introduced us and once we got to talking we hit it off.

We went out for dinner to celebrate our 7 month anniversary. James picked me up dressed to the 10s and we headed to Malibu for dinner on the pier. After dinner we walked down the pier and up some stairs to a little lookout of the ocean. Once we were up there I saw the photographer (shout out to Josh Scott) and knew it was happening. James led me to a corner where he and his sisters (Emily & Kate) had set up some flowers and a blanket under an umbrella. He was like alright let's do this and he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!! I said YES and our family came rushing up the pier with yells and shouts for joy! It amazing what the Lord has done in both of our lives within the past year! We're getting MARRIED!! We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with ya'll. See you in November!
